The Hubs has decided that we need to use his week of vacation time before it expires in June 2010. So we thought an anniversary trip in April would be perfect. We're not sure how much money we're going to have then, so we decided a small trip to see the Grand Canyon would be fun. We've talked about doing the Grand Canyon Railway for awhile now. We thought that would be perfect for a small anniversary trip.
Even though we would much rather see something like this;
But we just don't have the money for that right now.
Maybe someday...

I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but I know it's beautiful! That sounds like a great anniversary trip!
The grand canyon is amazing. My parents took a family vacation there and it was so much fun. We took a helicopter ride over the canyon it was amazing!

Grand Canyon Railway is great! We did that a couple years ago for our anniversary in April (16th) too! It was nice. We stayed at a little B&B in Williams and it was nicer than those closer to the Canyon itself, unless you stay inside the park. Let me know if you want to know more. Niki
