Jealousy

So, in the past week I've found out TWO of the bloggers I follow are now pregnant. One has been trying for almost a year and the other has only been trying two months. It feels like I keep hearing about a new pregnant person everyday!

Pregnant:

  • Joanna (at work)
  • Nanette (family friend)
  • Kati (Valisa's friend)
  • Karisa (Valissa's friend)
  • Lashelle (Valissa's sister)
  • Briana (Rob's friends girlfriend)
  • Baby Making Machine (blogger)
  • Mommyland (blogger)
Recently Had Baby:
  • Valissa (at work)
  • Nicole (sister-in-law)
  • Jen (Nicole's friend)
  • Jacqueline (Rob's friends girlfriend)
  • Elizabeth (at work)
That's thirteen!
And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head!
I mean really, are all these pregnancies around me necessary? As Whitney said, it's just because I want a baby, but there are more popping up now then ever before. I know Rob and I haven't been actively trying and it's only been three months, but it's still a bit frustrating when everyone around you is having a baby.
I just need to vent a little. I'll be fine.

Big Fat Blog Failure

Lately I've just felt like I don't have anything to write about or I just haven't felt like writing. I don't like this feeling, but I don't really know how to make it go away. I do have a few things that I can update about in the mean time.

  • We bought a new couch from the Roomstore over the weekend. It's amazing.

  • On Monday night the dogs ate NINE huge Hershey's chocolate bars and we found a huge puddle of throw up in the hallway.

  • Last night the dogs ate TWO boxes of crackers -- Wheat Thins and Saltines.

  • Bob Saget was amazing on the 9th. Awkward since he was older, but hilarious!

  • This weekend Rob and I are going camping with his friend Travis, some of his friends and family. I plan on taking as many pictures as I possibly can.

  • I'm taking Friday off to prepare for said camping trip.

  • Over the weekend Rob and I rearranged our bedroom. I should take pictures.

  • Allison and I started talking again this week.

  • Whitney's mom sent me a few books in the mail -- one being My Sister's Keeper. Which I'm really excited to read, but I should probably watch the movie first so I'm not disappointed.

If I can think of any more updates, I'll post them.

Bob Saget

Well, tonight Rob and I are going on a date to see Bob Saget at the Celebrity Theatre. I am SO excited to see him! He better not let me down! He has such a potty mouth, it's hard to believe that he was Danny Tanner from Full House. Rob and I have watched some of his stand up on HBO, I think. And we also so the roast for Bob Saget. SO funny! Tomorrow I'll definitely have to post some of the highlights from his show.

6 Months!

I can't believe it. Today Rob and I have been married for six months. That's half a year. In six more months we will be celebrating our year anniversary. Crazy stuff, I tell ya! I just can't believe it. Time sure flies when you're having fun. :)

H1N1

Apparently someone at my work has H1N1. There have been rumors of who, but they aren't allowed to actually tell us.

So that's great news! Just wanted to share!

Great Weekend!

Friday:

Nothing fancy about Friday. Rob went to his friend/gunsmith Daniel's house after work so he could take a look at one of his guns. He didn't get home until around 7, but once he got home we went to take a look at a couch that I found on Craig's List for only $100. When we got there though the couch was really dirty. You could just feel the dirt on the couch, not cute. So we decided to save that $100 and put it to a new (clean) couch. Then we went to Panda Express because I was a commercial and it made me remember how tasty it is! And that was our night. I'm pretty sure we started watching the third season of 30 Rock on Netflix as well.

Saturday:
Rob and I woke up pretty earlier even though we really didn't need to. Around 9:30 we headed to Bill Johnson's Big Apple for breakfast with my parents. It was delicious! I love love love their chicken fried steak. It's got to be one of my favorite things on this planet. After that we went over to Shooter's World to go shooting. My mom and I needed to get some training in before we go get our CCW's. Rob took an awesome picture of me shooting a Zombie, which I posted on Saturday. I want to take a picture of the two targets that we were shooting at, but I've yet to hang them up on the wall in Rob's room.

After shooting, we went home and relaxed for a bit then realized we should probably get some work done in the backyard. Rob mowed the backyard, while I swept up a bunch of fluff from a cushion that the dogs decided to chew up last week. Then I pulled up two dead bougainvillea plants and trimmed the big ones that are on the side of our house. Rob also skimmed the pool, some grass and fluff got in it. That's about it though. The rest of the day we mainly relaxed. Watched some more 30 Rock and ate leftovers from Bill Johnson's and Panda Express.

Sunday:
Now Sunday was a fun day! We got up early again because we were waiting for a pool guy to come check out our pool and tell us what we need to do to it. Turns out we are going to just drain it and start over. When the pool guy left, we headed up to Ben Avery's Shooting Range to go shooting with Rob's friend Tim. But when we got up the the range, there was a 45 minute wait. What were we supposed to do for 45 minutes? Plus, Rob's friend Tim wasn't even there. He was waiting for us to pick him up, but never mentioned that to us. So we went back home, dropped the guns off, picked up my camera and some snacks and headed up to Prescott!

It was a great day, didn't take us too long to get up there. It was super windy and pretty chilly (about 66 degrees). We went through Prescott Valley, then Prescott then Rob decided he wanted to go see what Chino Valley was like. When we were leaving Chino Valley, Rob took a wrong turn that made us to all the way back to Prescott Valley. So we went back through Prescott Valley and Prescott for a second time, this time though, we were trying to find a place to eat. We wanted to eat somewhere that we couldn't back in Phoenix. We couldn't find anything through Prescott Valley, so we kept driving up to Prescott. Once there, in the business district, we found Prescott Brewing Company! So we found a place to park, and went in! The place was pretty good and our server was this really nice lady. They had this pretty good beer there called Bumbleberry beer, it's made with blueberries and honey -- two of Rob's favorite things. So needlesstosay, he had to try it and I did too. After taking a sip of it, it felt like I'd just eaten a piece of toast. It was the weirdest feeling, but I liked it. Before leaving we had to buy one of their to go bottles of beer, which turned out to be this huge 64 oz. jug -- Rob was in heaven. (Don't mind Rob's face in that picture, he really was happy about that beer. I promise!)

After lunch, we started to head back home. We made a pit stop at Table Mesa so we could take the Rover out into the desert for some fun. It was a good time just driving around out there. Saw a bunch of people, in trucks and on quads, doing the same thing we were. I wanted to take a bunch of pictures, but right when we got there my camera decided to die! But I did get one pretty cool shot with my iPhone. After that, we decided to really head home. We also made another pit stop at Fry's to pick up some of their water that's on sale for $1.99 for a 24 pack. We couldn't pass that up. When we finally got home our neighboor decided to stop us and talk to us for like 15 minutes. Then her crazy daughter came outside and introduced herself to us. We finally got to go inside and just relax. It was about 6 o'clock and I had to get started on laundry! I didn't come close to getting it all finished today, but that's alright. We both had clothes to wear to work today, that's all that matters.

We had a great, productive weekend. I can't wait until next weekend! Friday we are going to see Bob Saget at the Celebrity Theatre. That should definitely be interesting! Other than that though, we don't have any plans. :) Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Shooting Day

Me shooting at an awesome Zombie target.
I just wanted to post a quick update with a picture. I'll post more later. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Big Boned / Weekend

I finished reading Big Boned by Meg Cabot today on my walk home from the bus stop. It was SO good. I absolutely adored that Cabot had Heather and Conner end up together in the end. It was very adorable the way she finally brought them together. I wish there were more books in this series. I plan on reading more by Meg Cabot though. In fact, the next book I'm going to read is Pants On Fire by Meg Cabot. I don't know what it's about, but I'm excited to read it nonetheless.

It's Friday and I couldn't be more happy. This week seemed to drag on forever. Tomorrow Rob and I are going to the shooting range with my parents and possibly Rob's friend Tim. We might even go out to breakfast with them in the morning, depending on when my dad wakes up, apparently. Other than that, we really don't have any plans for the weekend. I know I have a few things on my to do list. I need to paint the end tables for our living room and the paper towel holder that Rob's Gramma gave to us awhile ago. I should mop the kitchen, but that really doesn't sound like a fun time. And there are plenty of things that I need to do around the house.

I can't believe how many shows I'm watching now since a bunch just came back and since a bunch of new ones just started. Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Vampire Diares, The Biggest Loser, Americas Next Top Model, LA Ink, Eastwick, The Office, Heroes, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Flash Forward, One Tree Hill, Dexter, Californication... That's way past pathetic. I should really cut back, but I'm dedicated to all of them.

Whitney just informed me that there are books that The Vampire Diaries is based on. That means that I'm going to have to read them now. That's not a good thing, because that means that I'm going to spend money on books. There are so many books I want its ridiculous. But I'm trying to make do with what I have.

Have an amazing weekend! I'll try to get another post in sometime this weekend. Maybe I can take some pictures when we go shooting this weekend. I don't know if they allow you to in the indoor range. I've never been before.
