Lazy Sunday

Rob and I have just been lazy bums today. He got some of his stuff in his room organized and I posted a few things on Craigslist. I still have a few more things that I'd like to go through and post. Just trying to make a few extra bucks where ever we can. I really would like to start getting some work done in our living room. I want to tear up our fireplace and our carpet. We want to put down tile instead. I hope we can start soon.

Back to being lazy.

Dream

This is going to be a quick entry, I just wanted to share my dream.

I met the Golden Girls, all of them were alive. We were at some zoo/golfland/water park place. There were a few people there from Friday Night Lights and so was Caitlin Duncan. And I could fly. Really, who dreams this kind of stuff?

Reception

Well, last night was mine and Rob's wedding reception. It was a ton of fun. I was hot the entire time, but that's my fault. I decided to wear a long dress and that was a horrible idea. Not everyone came that said the would and some people that didn't RSVP did come. We got to talk to a bunch of people and the food was amazing. We had a little mishap with the chocolate fountain.. it never really became a fountain, but that's alright. We had melted chocolate and that was good enough for dipping the stuff in it. We got some awesome gifts, which I can't wait to put to good use. I meant to start putting some of the stuff out around the house today, but we've been really lazy. We went to see Star Trek. I really loved it. I liked Spock a lot. There were definitely some spots that really confused me, but that's bound to happen. We need to see X-Men now. :)

Weekend

I barely got to see Rob this weekend, but other than that the weekend was pretty good. Rob and I got in a fight on Friday (that's not good, but the outcome was). It was mainly an issue with us not communicating, which we've decided we're going to try to fix. On Saturday, I hung out with my mom all day. We went shopping. I got some new clothes and a few things for the house. I got a cute dress that I'm going to wear for our reception. I really love it! They're so comfy! On Sunday, Rob was gone for six hours! So I just stayed home and was watching Swingtown (which I totally love, not going to lie). Rob and I also started to watch Friday Night Lights on Friday too, which has been an amazing show so far. I originally started to watch it by myself, but then Rob came home and noticed it was about football and he decided that he needed to start watching it too. That's why on Sunday I started watching Swingtown because I knew he wouldn't be interested in watching it with me. But it's really not a bad show.

RSVP

I am really frustrated with people not RSVPing to our wedding reception. The last day to RSVP was yesterday and I got nothing!

Slacker

I have really been a slacker at posting the past few days. I can't believe it's only 9 days until our wedding reception. So weird. This weekend I think I'm going with my mom to look for a cute summery dress for our reception. I was thinking something white would be cute, but I'm klumsy and that probably wouldn't work out so well.

Well, I'm going to get back to work, but I'll try to update later.

Dinner

Well, dinner last night wasn't so bad. Rob's forum (Arizona Shooting) went out for dinner tonight at Golden Corral and I tagged along with Rob. We met some nice people. One of his friends from the forum brought his wife and their one year old daughter. She was so freakin' cute. But his friends wife is 27 and she's a teacher. She seemed really nice. I'm sure I'll see her at the next dinner. Last night I actually signed up on the forum. The guys seemed really nice, so I thought it was a good idea. I've gotten 10 posts in so I'm not condidered a "Newbie" anymore, which is awesome. I think after 1 more post I can see the classifieds on there. I think I'm going to try to sell my books and other random things that I put up on Craigslist.

Welp, that's my update. I wanted to share that dinner went well. Hopefully everyone else had a wonderful day.
And Happy Mother's Day!

I am not even going to lie, I loved this movie. But I do LOVE Rainn Wilson. He was so weird, like always. He was totally stuck in the 80's and had one of the best mullets I've ever seen. If you love funny movies, watch this.

I watched Ira & Abby yesterday. I had to stop it 20 minutes until the end to go to dinner, but once I got home I finished it. It's definitely an interesting movie. I like how it ended, sort of. If you like weird movies, then you should definitely watch this.

Friends with Money

I just watched this. I liked it. I really like Jennifer Aniston in weird roles in movies that no one knows about. I hated her in Marley & Me, but I think she did really well in this one. And I've always like Joan Kusak. Now I'm going to watch Ira & Abby. I don't think I'll be able to finish it because Rob and I are going to dinner with some of his forum friends.

Reality Television

Why do I watch such awesome reality TV? HA!

Root Beer

Look at Root Beer sitting in this chair like she owns it. Sorry, I just had to post this cute picture of my dog. <3

I have been forgetting to post a new picture of my office shelves, so I'm going to do it now. I really like the way they look now, much better then it did before. The whole room just looks tons better. I should take pictures of the whole room, but I'm just a slacker. :)

Today Rob told me that I can get my entertainment center! So, I'm going to order it this weekend and I won't get it until around July 25th. It's on backorder. I'm so impatient. I don't want to wait that long, but this is such a great price and it's gorgeous! And I think I've picked a different entryway table. This one is actually available though, so I can order it, get it and have it probably within a week or so. Depends on how long it takes to get delivered to the store.

Furniture

I have decided that I am saving up to get these. They're both at JCPenney's. I want the red table for my entry way and the black one for my living room, obviously. They're both on closeout right now online. But I want to go to the store to see if they have them there and to see if they're the same prices. I need to measure the area where I would want to put the entertainment center first before I just go out and buy it, just in case it would be to big or something. Rob said he thought they were both cool looking, but he doesn't think we need the entertainment center yet. I think the living room would definitely look better with it though. We shall see. We just sold Rob's Civic so we have some money now and I would like to buy them now because I'm very impatient. I'll talk to Rob tonight and do some measuring.

Weekend

This weekend just felt like work. I don't feel like I got to really relax. On Saturday we met one of Rob's friends in the morning then we went to my brother and sister-in-laws baby shower from 1:00 until we got back to my parents around 4:30 then we went to another one of Rob's friends houses and we finally left there at 7:00. And then we went home and watched Slumdog Millionaire. Sunday morning we watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, well not the last 20 minutes because we had to leave to go to Rob's aunts house. We got to his aunts house around 1:00 to discuss our cakes for the reception and we didn't leave there until 6:30, then we stopped at my parents house because I needed to drop of my dad's laptop. We finally got home around 7:30ish. We ate dinner and finished watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and afterwards we watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. We finally got to sleep around 11:00. We got plenty of sleep this weekend, but we just didn't really get to sit around at relax. I hope we get to next weekend. Who knows!

Slumdog Millionaire

Terrific movie. I highly recommend it.

Milk

Milk is such a good movie. I would highly recommend it. I did not know that the man that killed Harvey Milk was that man that tried to plead "The Twinkie Defense". Absolutely ridiculous. I didn't know James Franco was in the movie until I watched it. He was excellent in his role. Sean Penn was amazing as always. You should watch it!
