Happy 2nd Anniversary!

I can't believe it's been 2 years.  It feels like just yesterday that we got married but it feel like I've been with him forever.  It's a wonderful feeling.

We've had a wonderful day.

We woke up and juiced.  We've been slacking the last few days.  We did a shot of juice with wheat grass.  It's quite disgusting.  It tastes like dirt and hay.  Yuck!  When we came upstairs there was a card hidden under my laptop from Rob, which is super adorable because he's not much of a card guy.  And of course I had a card for him hidden behind my back.

Then we got ready to head out for the day.  First, we went to Castles N' Coasters for some arcade game fun!  We spent a few hours there using up the game credits we've had since the last time we went about a year ago.

We left there around 1pm to hit up the food court at the mall across the street for a little lunch.  Afterward we went over to the movie theater to see Sucker Punch, which we both enjoyed.  (I might do a small review on the movie.)

Rob and I weren't quite ready for dinner yet since the movie only ended at 4pm.  So Rob drove us over to Barnes & Noble for some looking around since I've had a gift card there since Christmas time.  I found a book of 1000 Pin-Up Girls that I decided I needed since I'd really like to get another pin-up girl tattoo someday.

It turned out that Rob made arrangements for dinner already.  He'd made a reservation for us at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.  Neither of us had ever been there before.  It was alright, but seeing as how I'm not a fan of seafood I didn't have very many options.  I ended up ordering the filet mignon which I didn't particularly like, but the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious and I got to try asparagus for the first time too!

My new book. My anniversary drink; Swampthing. My anniversary dinner.

At dinner Rob admitted that he bought me something for our anniversary; an Arizona shot glass.  (I collect shot glasses from where ever I visit.  My family has definitely helped add to the collection, as well.)  Recently we've discussed moving states so he told me I needed a shot glass from Arizona.  I thought it was a really great idea.

After dinner we came back home and watched Kick-Ass.  I don't think I'd ever watch it again and it wasn't that funny, which was disappointing.

Now we're just relaxing.  It's been quite a busy day for us.  I hope everyone else had a wonderful day as well!  And have a fantastic Friday! :)

Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Hubs!

Today marks on years since Hubs and I got married on the gorgeous beach of La Jolla.  That's insane!  It feels like just a few months ago we got back from California.

We spent the whole day together.  I decided to take the day off work; we've decided to make that a tradition.  We woke up around 8:30, got ready and went to breakfast at the U.S. Egg.

Afterwards, we saw The Last Song.  I just finished reading the book, so I wanted to see how the movie compared. The movie is never as good as the book.  [Miley Cirus has an annoying mouth.]

Case and point.

After the movie we went to Castles N' Coasters to play some arcade games.  We had some leftover tokens that we needed to use.  We ended up staying there for awhile; it was pretty fun!

To top everything off we went to dinner at Olive Garden, my favorite restaurant.  Hubs and I even had a chance to have a serious talk; which we've been  putting off for while.

It's been an absolutely lovely day.  I can't wait for many, many more.

I love you, Hubs! <3

11 Months!

Next month we will be celebrating our one year anniversary.  These past 11 months have flown by and I've never been happier. :)

I'm pretty sure I was crying.

Happy 11 Months, Husband. <3

10 Months!

Really?  It's been ten months.  In two months it will be a year.

INSANE!

Now enjoy some photos. :)

Those are my grandparents wedding rings.

It's insane.  In three short months Hubs and I will have been married a year, already.  It feels like last week we were standing on the beach saying our "I do's".  We've definitely made some big decisions the last nine months.

We have had our fair share of ups and downs the past nine months.  We got married, duh.  We threw out the pill.  Our house was broken into a second time in our house.  We've made the decision to move out of the first house we bought together.  Both of our mothers found out I'm off the pill.  There have been small arguements.  There's definitely been crying.

Through everything, ups and down and the inbetweens, I know more then anything that he's the man I want to spend the rest of my life with (duh, I married him) and the man I want to have my children with (yeah, we already covered that I'm off the pill).  He's a great man and he works hard to support us and I appreciate everything he does.

Anniversary Vacation

The Hubs has decided that we need to use his week of vacation time before it expires in June 2010.  So we thought an anniversary trip in April would be perfect.  We're not sure how much money we're going to have then, so we decided a small trip to see the Grand Canyon would be fun.  We've talked about doing the Grand Canyon Railway for awhile now.  We thought that would be perfect for a small anniversary trip.

Even though we would much rather see something like this;

But we just don't have the money for that right now.
Maybe someday...

8 Months!

Happy 8 Monthiversary, Hubs! <3

It's amazing how quickly time passes.  In four short months we will be celebrating our year anniversary, and I can't believe it!  We are going to start planning a mini vacation for it.  Most of it will be spent at home since we're short on money, but it will be a great time.  As long as I'm with him. <3

7 Months!

The time is just flying by. It honestly seems that just last week we were in La Jolla getting married on the beach. I know it hasn't been a long time. Not nearly as long as a lot of other people, but we've got to start somewhere!

We didn't have anything special planned for the day. We just decided to run a few errands. We went to Walmart. Hubs wanted to find some ammunition to give his father for his birthday, but no luck. We will have to try a different location tomorrow. Then we went to Barnes & Noble so Hubs could look at the books on their amazing bargain racks. I already got to take a look at them yesterday since my mom wanted to. I picked up Dear John by Nicholas Sparks for only $7 and it's the hardback edition. I also got Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks at Bookmans for $7 too. I like Nicholas Sparks, can you tell? I still need to get The Choice and Last Song. Anyways, I got sidetracked. Last but not least went to Fry's. Our cashier was an awesome guy! Gave us $15 off our bill for no reason! So we only went over our "budget" by $3.

The rest of the day was pretty relaxed. We came home and made a pizza for lunch and watched Alaska State Troopers and Ugly Betty. Then we decided to take a nap. I thought it was going to be a quick nap, but it lasted for three hours. We woke up, made some dinner then watched Adventureland. It was a pretty cute movie, even though it has Kristen Stewart in it (not the biggest fan of hers). And now we are watching Management. It's been a lazy day, but it's been nice. Tomorrow is going to have to be more productive. I have a bunch of laundry and cleaning to do.

Unitl next time! :)

6 Months!

I can't believe it. Today Rob and I have been married for six months. That's half a year. In six more months we will be celebrating our year anniversary. Crazy stuff, I tell ya! I just can't believe it. Time sure flies when you're having fun. :)

4 Months!

That's how long Rob and I have been married. It's the weirdest thing. WE ARE MARRIED. He is my husband, and I'm his wife.

I know I've been slacking again on posting. I even started to write a list about things to post about, but that obviously didn't help. This weekend it's my goal to update at least TWO times. I know I have a few things that I'd like to post about. I think I even have one topic saved as a draft.

I'm not posting a lot in the entry.
I just wanted to pop in and say sorry for not posting.

2 Years

Happy 2 Year (dating) Anniversary!
& 3 Month (married) Anniversary!

It is so hard for me to believe that Rob and I have been together for two years! If feels like I've known him forever, but at the same time it feels like we just starting dating! Before I couldn't believe we were even dating, now I can't believe we're married. It's just so weird to think about. And what's even more weird is us thinking about expanding our family. Definitely weird in a good way. I just can't believe how great my life has turned out so far. I am definitely grateful that I've met such an amazing man so early on in my life.

I know that since we're married now, we're not supposed to count our dating anniversary. But this is a large milestone that I want to acknowledge. We've planned to go to dinner tonight. I can't wait! I love my Husband more and more everyday! <3 (not to say that he doesn't drive me crazy most of the time!) :)
